Dressed to Impress

I'm working on creating with pattern paper. Ok, I use pattern paper on about 95% of all my cards!! But with the retiring list having just been released, figured I'd put it into high gear. These two cards I shared on a Facebook Live tonight. Join me on my business page, Linda Lou Creates, for Lives every Sunday and Wednesday evening (8pm eastern time).

Measurements:
Lovely Lipstick card base - 11 x 4 1/4, scored and folded at 5 1/2
Basic Black - 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
Whisper White - 5 1/4 x 4
Best Dressed DSP - 4 strips each measuring 4 x 1 1/8

My card is based off this lovely sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

And card #2, where I actually fussy cut out those shoes from the Best Dressed designer series paper! That's big for me, as I'm lazy and don't like fussy cutting!!

Measurements:
Petal Pink card base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
Best Dressed DSP - 5 1/2 x 2, 5 1/2 x 3/4

April Paper Pumpkin Cards

Check out these cards, created from the April Paper Pumpkin kit. I love 'em!!! They went together super fast. In fact, the very night I got the kit in the mail, I had all 8 cards made, 4 each of the 2 designs shown here. Interested in getting a kit every month of your very own? Then check out Paper Pumpkin HERE.

Here's a card I made using what was left over. Actually, I made several of these to send to my Paper Pumpkin customers. If you'd like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin monthly, check it out HERE. You also have a prepaid option which you can take advantage of HERE. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank You Kindly

I can't believe I totally forgot to add this card!! I'm still struggling, as I'm sure lots of you are, with getting myself on some sort of schedule during all this craziness. I'm busy making cards, just seem to be lacking the discipline of posting them!!

Well let me tell you about this one. It was created for a challenge in our Facebook group of fellow demonstrators where we were to use vellum. I hadn't played with the Perennial Essence vellum cardstock in quite a while so I knew I had to for this challenge. The colors included in this pack are Old Olive, Petal Pink and So Saffron. One side of the vellum is the color (so saffron in this case), while the other side is a white/saffron. That's the side I have showing here. After using the new embossing folder, Ornate Floral, on it, I adhered it down to a piece of whisper white cardstock cut to the same size using liquid glue. The reason I did that was so the black layer did not show thru. Measurements and products used are listed below:

Measurements:
Thick Whisper White card base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
Basic Black - 5 1/8 x 3 7/8, 3 1/2 x 2 1/4
Perennial Essence vellum - 5 x 3 3/4
Whisper White - 5 x 3 3/4 (under vellum), 3 3/8 x 2 1/8
