The wonderfully fun group of demos I have the privilege to know does a weekly creative challenge. This week was Simple Stamping - only one layer allowed, just stamps, ink and paper. Because it was at my desk I decided to use Winter Woods, a gorgeous stamp set I haven't used much. This card literally took me 5 minutes to create, even with a messy desk to work around!! The trees were stamped full strength then stamped again without re-inking. It really gives depth to the scene. A simple sentiment and call it done. This will go into my Christmas card pile for mailing this holiday.
Garden Green card base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
Very Vanilla - 5 1/4 x 4
Ok, so I call them punch art snowmen when the circles are actually die cut!!! Hahaha!!! I just think punch art sounds better. Anyway, I shared how to create these cuties on a video HERE. Watch it and let me know what you think.
These cards feature the Snowman Season stamp set and Let it Snow embellishment kit. All of these items are from the new holiday catalog that goes live September 4th. If you're a snowman lover like I am, this suite is for you. And what's great is it's the first suite featured in my Christmas Card Making Club that I'm co-hosting with my friend Lynn Dunn. For more details about the club and a link to reserve your spot, check it out HERE.
Here is the card I shared how to make on my latest YouTube video HERE. It really is quite easy but packs a big impact. This adorable snowman and gorgeous designer series paper is from the Let it Snow Suite from Stampin' Up's! Holiday Catalog. I adore snowmen so I knew this suite would be the first one in my cart!
