You Are the Greatest

The Facebook group I'm involved with issued a fancy fold challenge for this month. Definitely a challenge for a clean & simple gal!! I found this easel type of card and decided to use the bundle I ordered the very first day the new catalog went live, Tropical Chic. I love the images from the stamp set and the colors & designs of the designer series paper. So fun to make, and easy too!!

Here are the dimensions:
Granny Apple Green card base - 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
Thick Whisper White - 5 1/4 x 4
Tropical Escape DSP (pink strip) - 1 1/4 x 5 1/4

Flap:
Granny Apple Green - 2 3/8 x 4 1/2 -- score at 1/2" and 2 1/2"
Basic Black - 2-1/4" x 3-7/8
Tropical Escape DSP (black and white) - 2-1/8" x 3-3/4

Easy Easel Card

The crazies have decided to move into the Anderson household and they don't seem to want to leave!!!!! I can't find my mojo!!! Every time I sit down at my desk to create, I just stare and my mind is blank. Well Wednesdays I'm off work so I decided to simply relax and let the creative juices flow. I'm involved with a Facebook SU demo group and we have weekly creative challenges -- HOORAY! This week we need to make an easel card. I saw the easiest easel card ever being made on You Tube and knew that what exactly what I needed.

Start with a piece of cardstock cut at 4 1/4 x 11, score at 5 1/2. Then score the front half of the card diagonally, from the left corner of your 5 1/2 inch score line to the bottom right corner. I used a piece of the Share What You Love specialty dsp along with the Stitched All Around bundle and BOOM, I've got an easel card. Super simple...gotta love that!

Below is a list of all the products I used on my card. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
