'Tis the Season

It's never too early to start making Christmas cards. In fact, someone posted on Facebook there are 30 weeks until Christmas!!! I've since unfriended them!! Hahaha!!! I went with a One Sheet Wonder that I saw on a Facebook Live to make 12 (yes, I said 12) of these cards. The panel with the reindeer measures 3 x 4, allowing you to get 12 pieces out of a 12 x 12 sheet of pattern paper. Thought I would work on a paper pack, Be Merry, that has retired and is already sold out!!! For the green layer and scalloped oval, I used Always Artichoke which is also retiring and the inventory is low...so buy yours quickly!!! Now the metallic enamel shapes are retiring, available, and are discounted!!! I plan on making more of these with other papers from this pack and make up some gift sets with a variety of Christmas cards. Our neighbor always keeps an eye on our cat when we go on vacation so I thought I would make one up for her. She's such a dear!!

Two More One Sheet Wonder Cards

Here are two more One Sheet Wonder cards. I love OSWs!! My problem is I always add more "stuff" to my cards than what was originally intended. I want to hold a one sheet wonder class but must practice self-control!! As a martial arts instructor, we teach our kids that concept a lot...now I must learn to practice what I teach!! Anyway, my cards make use of a piece of retired designer series paper and the April Paper Pumpkin kit. Yes, I'm still playing with that kit even though the May kit is sitting on my desk waiting to be used!!

Playing With Some New Product

My card today is for a color challenge to use at least three colors from the Brights collection. I decided to pull in a few new and a few retiring products for my card (can you tell I'm having a hard time giving up some of the last chance products?!!). Check out that gorgeous abstract pink and white paper - it's part of the new Garden Impressions Suite coming out June 1st. What are my bright colors on this card you ask?
