1" Pattern Paper Strips...Again!!

I'm on a kick of using 1" strips of pattern paper, usually scraps, to create a card. Well, today I did a Facebook Live on my business page showing how this card was made. This time, I actually cut the one inch strips instead of using scraps!! I had some leftover so tomorrow I'll share a 2nd card I made with these paper strips. It all comes from the Most Wonderful Time product medley, something, I confess, I overlooked when first going thru the catalog. I'm so happy I ended up getting it though, it really is lovely!! Here are the measurements and products used:

Measurements:
Thick Whisper White card base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
Old Olive - 5 1/4 x 4
Basic Black - 4 7/8 x 3 5/8
Whisper White, 4 3/4 x 2, 4 3/4 x 1 1/2
DSP - 1" strips

One Card Leads to Another

I was playing with products from the Come to Gather Suite out of the holiday catalog. Here I'm really highlighting the gorgeous designer series papers. I also learned a trick that I love the results of...drop the leaf dies face down into an ink pad then directly onto your paper and die cut out. You get these gorgeous leaves with wonderful accents. While I had this pack of paper out, I noticed I had several 1" strips that I didn't have the heart to throw away...so a second card was born!!! Scroll down to see it!

Sahara Sand card base - 11 x 4 1/4, scored and folded at 5 1/2
