I'm Here for you Friend

Using an embossing folder was our team's Facebook challenge last week. I decided to pull out the beautiful bundle Rooted in Nature. My only problem is I have barely used it!! Well I started by stamping the trees on the main panel in Tranquil Tide ink, and stamping them again before re-inking. This panel was then run thru the Big Shot using the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Next I sponged some Crumb Cake ink over the panel to really highlight the embossing. The tree stump image was first inked in Crumb Cake, fussy cut out, then the edges sponged with Early Espresso ink. Lots of inky fingers before this card was done!!

As for the single tree image, I started out inking up the leaves in Tranquil Tide. I then used an Early Espresso marker to color in the trunk. I stamped it on scrap Very Vanilla then die cut it out. It is then popped up onto the "stump" with dimensionals with a linen thread double bow and piece of gold sequin trim attached. Add a sentiment and this card is complete.
