Enjoy Your Special Day!

I'm actually kinda glad today is winding down!! I've been having a scratchy throat and I know what's in my near future!! I always seem to get sick this time of year:(  It messes with my mojo too, but tonight I was able to get this quick and easy card done using the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and Detailed Dragonfly thinlet dies. Do you notice the Tempting Turquoise splatters in the background? Well that's from Gorgeous Grunge, a retired set but one I see myself using for a very long time!! The background was watercolored using Daffodil Delight ink and an aquapainter filled with rubbing alcohol. It really does dry quickly! The dragonfly was die cut twice, once in Basic Black and once in Tempting Turquoise. I covered it with shimmer thanks to wink of stella then layered it over some silver metallic thread. All the products used to make this card can be found at my on-line store HERE. Be sure and check out all the wonderful new products in the holiday catalog too.

Hi

Just wanted to share a fun card I created with using Coffee Break Designer Series Paper scraps and the Coffee Cafe bundle (purchase the Coffee Cafe stamp set and Coffee Cups Framelits Dies as a bundle and save 10%!). The coffee cup and lid are heat embossed using versamark ink and clear embossing powder. I love using the starburst pattern, it's a perfect way to use up scraps!! The sentiment was popped up using a Stampin' Dimensional onto one of the Corrugated Elements. A little linen thread and a piece of burlap ribbon (an absolute must have!!) complete this project. If you are interested in any of the supplies, please visit my site HERE where you can purchase them. Thanks for stopping by!

Color Challenge

My upline holds weekly challenges and this week we needed to create with our favorite color combination. I'm funny when it comes to colors, instead of a specific combination, I always find myself drawn to the neutrals like black, white and gray. So I made sure to include those colors in my card!!! I used the fabulous Painted Harvest bundle from the holiday catalog...I love it!!! I used the leaf punch for a few vellum accents along with some silver sequin trim and sweet sugarplum ribbon. Other colors I used were fresh fig, smokey slate, basic black, tranquil tide and lemon lime twist. If you're interested in ordering any of the products I used, you can do so HERE

Deck the Halls

My upline has a holiday creative challenge going on so I pulled out my Carols of Christmas bundle and got to work. The sentiment is stamped in Fresh Fig with a watercolor wash of Sweet Sugarplum behind it. The flowers are also stamped in Fresh Fig with the leaves in Lemon Lime Twist. My supplies are limited so I have to use what I've got!! Like the scrap piece of Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper, Pearl Basic Jewels, and Linen Thread. All of these items can be found on my website HERE.
