And why not a Calypso Coral and Gold Valentine?!!! I sure do love the Painted With Love designer series paper from the Occasions catalog so that's where my color palette started for a non-traditional Valentine color challenge I'm playing along with. And I decided to put my sewing machine to work too -- I love the zig zag detail.

A fun technique that brings such fun results is Triple Time Stamping. Check out THIS VIDEO by my upline, Lynn Dunn, for directions. I cheated and used a background stamp...talk about quick and easy. I made several cards using different colors buy my favorite is this one, Lemon Lime Twist ink and black cardstock mats. The only pop of color is the Berry Burst butterfly from a Paper Pumpkin kit. Think I'll have to make a few more of these!!!
Here are the measurements:
Card Base (black) - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Mats (black) - 4 1/2 x 3 1/4
3 1/2 x 2 1/4

I was busy the past couple of days getting ready for stamp camp -- and boy was it fun!! They made 3 cards and a Valentine treat box. Fun, fun, fun!! I was able to sneak in a Facebook challenge before the deadline - make a feminine and masculine birthday card using the same stamp set. Well I totally cheated, relying on pattern paper and a happy birthday sentiment. Obviously this is the feminine version. I'll post the masculine one later. Check out all the supplies I used and if you're interested, click on a product below to go directly to my store. Happy shopping!!
