Here's a card I made using a new stamp set from the Occasions catalog called Bloom by Bloom. I love this set and all the coordinating product!!! Wait till you see it! Now I must admit to you, the patterned paper is retired so you won't see it in my store. I am in need of a bunch of birthday cards and decided to use up some of what I've got. I ended up making 14 of these cards...Hooray!!

Make a Wish

 I was without a blog for several days while I struggled to set up my custom domain...UGH!!! Thanks for sticking with me, because now I'm back!!! And I'm here to show you the latest sketch we have this week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Believe me when I say, you will make something in no time following this sketch. 'Tis the Season...For a New Sketch

Check out the sketch for this week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. I pondered over this one for a while. I am usually so literal when it comes to sketches so I decided to play a little outside the box!!

 Instead of 3 individual circles, I went with one big one...in the shape of a wreath...the Seasonal Wreath Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from Stampin' Up to be exact. I sponged a little ink over the embossing to really make it pop!! Then I pulled out my Candy Cane Seasons bundle and some non-traditional colors of ink to finish up the card. I was able to make rhinestones whatever color I wanted by coloring them in with a Stampin' Blend.

A fun card influenced by an even funner sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Sure hope you can join us this week.

Gatefold Merry Christmas

Do you love to stamp and make cards? Do you love playing along in challenges? If you join my team as a Stampin' Up demonstrator (purchase your starter kit by clicking the link above), you'll become a member of the funnest Facebook group over that will keep your creative juices flowing with weekly creative challenges. Last week we were asked to make a gate fold card that featured at least one snowflake. FABULOUS!!!

What's a gate fold card you ask? Well you start with a piece of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" cardstock (I used Tranquil Tide). Score at 2 1/8" and again at 6 3/8", folding in those flaps along the score lines until they meet in the middle. Then decorate as you please!! Here I used some of the Joyous Noel DSP which is, unfortunately, no longer available. Remember, the Year-End Closeout is going on now until January 2nd or while supplies last. Don't miss out and order today!!
