The New Magnolia Lane Suite

It's time for me to share the latest sketch from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge Blog. I really like this sketch, so many possibilities!!  

And here's one of 'em, using the soon to be released Magnolia Lane Suite of products. This is a gorgeous suite that's coming out in the new annual catalog June 4th. I think it's going to be one of the most popular!! I actually used the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack for the pattern papers and magnolia flower, which happens to be a sticker from the pack!! The sentiment comes from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set. A super quick card to create thanks to all the lovlies from this memories & more card kit!!

I'm Going to Disney World!!

That's right, tomorrow morning I'll be on a jet plane to meet up with Phillip in Disney World!!! And I can't wait!!! Here are two cards I created thanks to my mousey inspiration! To see a FB Live replay showing how I made them, check it out HERE.

Lovely as a Tree

Can you believe it, Lovely as a Tree is retiring this year!!!!! It is definitely a classic, must have set that I will always keep. It was released in 2001...wow, 18 years ago!!

For my card, I masked off the Whisper White cardstock except for the long rectangle. Here I sponged using Crumb Cake ink and a sponge dauber. Then I stamped the Crackle Paint background stamp over top (stamping off some of the ink onto scrap paper first). Then my most favorite part, peeling off the mask for the big reveal! The tree was colored in using Old Olive and Soft Suede Stampin' Write Markers. I actually did a Facebook Live to show you how it was done...check it out HERE.

Here's mine, using up a few retiring items from Stampin' Up! like the Sparkle embossing folder and Happiness Blooms Memories & More Card Pack. Now the polka dotted paper is what I used from that pack, but I was able to cut a total of 8 3/4" strips from the 2 pieces of 3 x 4 paper out of this pack. Yes, I created 8 of these birthday cards...because I send A LOT of birthday cards!!! Now I hope you can join us and share your creation at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

Happy Mother's Day

Wishing all my family and friends a Happy Mother's Day today!! All I plan to do today is get lost in my stamp room!! Yesterday was a bit of a crazy day, leaving work to take hubby to the ER!! All is good so today will definitely be a day of rest.

Had an idea in my head for this card and it came out just as I had envisioned. Lots of tone on tone between the cardstock, ink and Stampin' blend. Needed the black for some pop. Now I must admit, this is the 2nd making of this card. The first one my Wink of Stella pen exploded on it!!! I opted to eliminate the Wink of Stella on this one...just to be safe. Just 3 little rhinestones and my card is complete.
