Enjoy Your Special Day!

I'm actually kinda glad today is winding down!! I've been having a scratchy throat and I know what's in my near future!! I always seem to get sick this time of year:(  It messes with my mojo too, but tonight I was able to get this quick and easy card done using the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and Detailed Dragonfly thinlet dies. Do you notice the Tempting Turquoise splatters in the background? Well that's from Gorgeous Grunge, a retired set but one I see myself using for a very long time!! The background was watercolored using Daffodil Delight ink and an aquapainter filled with rubbing alcohol. It really does dry quickly! The dragonfly was die cut twice, once in Basic Black and once in Tempting Turquoise. I covered it with shimmer thanks to wink of stella then layered it over some silver metallic thread.
